An In site to the Bus travelers Mind

Of late I started taking the public buses for travel the way we used to do so long ago i college .The idea of using the bus was frustrating initially ,kinda stressful .Doing it for a couple of days now I guess I started enjoying the sense of freedom it gave me  ~~Needless to say that long waits for the cabs is now over without dependency I actually started feeling Like the "Queen " .

Today some thing very casual happened which actually shaked up by thought process .As always while travelling in the bus all standing the seat right in front of me became khali and as I was about to sit another lady imparted me the gyan that I should vacate the seat for another elderly person.First thought in my mind why should I be the one ,still I got up and gave up my seat .A sense of bliss actually doused me ,I understood that that small act of charity actually made my day because it made me feel good of my existence today.

Do good to the unknown and feel the bliss.

  5. This reminds me of my school/college days. I would give up my seat every time I saw an aged individual, a female, a child or an individual with disability. I would feel aggravated quite a many times when I would see, healthy young men pounce upon an open seat and not allow / offer that to the next person in need. On the same note, I also noticed after I traveled to west (US) that the people lacked the perception that an aged person, a female or disabled person would be more in need and it would be appropriate to offer your seat to them.
I am glad that you were willing to leave your seat for another person. The bliss and the calm that follows is amazing. This world is a stage, where we learn continuously. In the Bhagavad-Gita Lord Krishna lists humility as the first item of knowledge. "http://www.krishna.com/real-humility"

  6. In my opinion, the author needs to start using spellchecks before publishing things online.
And please don't butcher the English language, reading this blog is painful.

    1. Geez... When people do not have something good to say or when they start correcting your grammar, you know you have won the debate (not exactly a debate here). BTW Anonymous, it would be better if you follow what you preach. Sentences do not start with "And". Also please pay attention to your punctuation.
